Artist: Area Zero
Tracks: Altered Beats / Abducted
Cat No: 10TON002
Release date: 12th March 201210 Ton is a Portsmouth based bass music label primarily focusing their efforts on Dubstep, Grime, and Drum & Bass. Established in 2010 and successfully releasing their debut single featuring Sekklow’s dance floor smasher “Transmit” and “Man On The Moon” from Bournemouth’s Audio Sleaze. Still focusing on quality over quantity 10 Ton are very pleased to announced their follow up single:
Area Zero – Altered Beats
This one is for the 16bit gamers amongst us!An extremely eerie introduction as the tune proceeds to add layers building the tension towards the vocal… “Rise from your grave”!
A stinkin’ bassline of epic proportions smacks you square in the chops!
Chaos ensures as the tune progresses amidst the wonky basslines, stuttered beats and vocal snippets!
Certified banger!
Area Zero – Abducted
An epic introduction as you can feel the drums punching you deep from the subs.Tensions build as they drop you into a heavy reece and vocal combination.
Abducted very quickly builds towards the drop, that nasty reece makes a welcome return as all hell breaks loose with crashing rides, break switches and a chest thumping bassline!
This tune certainly gives a nod to those classic D&B days of old that we cherish so dearly.
10TON002 is available from all good digital stores from 12th March 2012 and is distributed by Nu Urban Music.
